Hiya! I'm Deb Cad, a fractional creative director, copywriter, and brand strategist based in Greer, South Carolina.

I started my career as a journalist, which means I've always believed that the best marketing tells a true story well. Over the past 20 years I've brought that belief into advertising — leading rebrands, writing campaigns, directing productions, and helping mission-driven organizations find the words and ideas that make people stop, feel something, and act.

I've worked with universities, nonprofits, and the agencies that serve them, collaborating with designers, art directors, producers, web developers, and clients who care deeply about the work. I love the full arc of a creative project, from the first strategy conversation to the final day on set.

These days I work independently through my own practice, Deb Cad Creative LLC, which means my clients get direct access to senior-level creative thinking without the agency overhead. Whether you call it fractional creative support or freelance, I’m ready to tackle projects big and small.

When I'm not writing or directing, you'll probably find me hunting for vintage furniture, supporting Greenville’s growing arts scene, or hanging out with my rescue pup, Sweet Pea.
